Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup warm water

  • 1 package dry yeast

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 2 TBSP sugar

  • 1 cup + extra Flour

Directions:

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water.

  2. Add sugar, salt, & eggs and mix thoroughly.

  3. Add 1 cup of flour and mix until well blended.

  4. Add additional flour until dough is not too sticky.

  5. Divide dough into 6 oblong shaped pieces.

  6. Place on floured board to rise until doubled.

  7. Fill a pot half full of water and bring to a slow boil.

  8. Add 3 of the dough pieces, cover, and turn heat down on low.

  10. This is the most important piece so the dumplings don’t plop! Remove the cover of the pot VERY slowly.
